Daisy’s Plotbunnies which will probably stick in her head and never come out…(I'm not sure if these ones are even good ideas, anyway)..

Just came back from a week in Scotland. Mountains and hills were very pretty as usual. It rained a lot but it was glorious on the last day. We went for a few boat trips and a couple of walks – on the last day, we walked up a hill next to the coast. After we had lunch, I found a nice place to read my book. And then when we walked back to the cars, I jumped off a rock onto another rock, landed on my feet rather awkwardly and pulled a leg muscle. SMART MOVE, DAISY. ^_^ But my leg’s better, now!

Also, I found out that the Scottish Parliament passed some law which says that anyone under 18 isn’t allowed to eat in restaurants after 9.00 pm or so – apparently it’s to stop drunkards badly influencing them. Bloody hell, I can understand them not being allowed in a pub after 9.00 if the pub doesn’t do meals but restaurants? They are far less likely to do that sort of thing! (Unless their parents take them to particular restaurants which have a lot of drunks coming in but, well....that suggests something about the parents)

I bet the people who thought this rule was a good idea would be horrified if they took a trip to Spain.

♠ a happy medium.
A thing often very difficult to find, but you have been chosen to help this world find it.

The rustling of sheets, the warm, welcoming crackle of a nearby fireplace--they rouse you to consciousness. A small girl clad in white temporarily blocks the glow of the fire. Her lips form words--words you strain to hear as though listening through a fog.

You blink, opening your eyes a second time. The girl has disappeared, and so has the fire and warmth. It was just a dream you will only vaguely remember.
Your reality is now a bleak room in a creaking edifice on a winding street in an unknown--and very strange--city, populated by seemingly normal inhabitants. You are given a single black, skeleton key, a book with blank pages, a small mirror, a set of clothes--

--and a choice.

No matter what you choose, balance is the key to survival here. How you choose to live will dictate the path of the world itself, because there is much more to discover.
Come each nightfall, you will begin to see the mysterious and paranormal unfold; come each day, you will be given a chance to use the time you have.

We suggest you make the most of it.

♠ premise.
medius_terra is a panfandom roleplaying game set in a strange 'Victorian' city. Your character has been chosen by some of its inhabitants because they need the help of other worlds--it seems the fate of their world, the convergence of myths and legends come to life, is in grave danger. The key, as stated, is balance--to live in excess at either end of the scale will eventually be the undoing of the world in more ways than one, but the choice is up to you, the player.
